Santenay

Santenay is the most southerly of the notable towns in the Cote de Beaune. Outside of wine circles, it is famous for its salt-water spa and its casino. But in the wine world, Santenay is known for its red wines.

One of the famous families in Santenay is the Belland family. We only carry two of the wines from Adrien and Jean-Claude Belland that have the village appellation of Santenay. Both are very fine Premier Cru wines. One is earthy and minerally while the other is more bold and fruity. Both are excellent values.
