Background
Grown in limestone soil with a little bit of clay, this single vineyard is planted with clones known for their lower yields and higher quality. Claudie uses "reasoned" vineyard management to care for her vines. The vineyard also has perfect south-southeast exposure.
Tasting Notes
The wine shows a wonderful balance between fullness and elegance. It's creaminess reminds many people of creme brulee. Super smooth and appealing finish.
