- Background
- Anne refers to her Rugiens as an “American football player” wine, exhibiting lots of body and power. Of course, the Rugiens vineyard has ferrous oxide in the soil, which not only gives the dirt a reddish tint, but also makes for a heartier wine. Anne’s in one of the best from this most famous Premier Cru vineyard.
- Tasting Notes
- Nice Burgundian character, with more earth and bacon in the nose. Good power and concentration, nice length to the finish.
