- Background
 - The name, Argillieres, means clay, which describes the soil in this vineyard. Clay soil begets elegance in a wine. When I first tasted this wine, I was blown away by the smoothness and elegance of this wine. Simply put, it seduced me … and I believe it will seduce you, too.
 - Tasting Notes
 - A big wine, with deep ripe fruit aromas, along with spice, clove. Wood is well-integrated, and there is a sense of elegance and silky texture to the wine. Structure kicks in on the finish, along with some wood tannins.
