Background
The Griotte vineyard is the smallest of the Grand Cru vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin — only 2.3 hectares, which is about 6 acres. There are only 5 families that have access to the Griotte vineyard; so they all own a very small plot of vines. The Griotte is a most elegant, exclusive, and seductive wine.
Tasting Notes
Massive, concentrated blackberry, blueberry and cassis fruit, along with some herb and earth. Incredible wine.
