BACKGROUND

Croix Blanche translates to White Cross in English. This vineyard is just behind the old train station in Pommard. In fact, it is right across the street from the Premier Cru Pommard Epenots vineyard. Great location. Only 3 winemakers have access to vines in the Croix Blanche vineyard. Most exclusive.

TASTING NOTES

A combo of wild black cherry and blackcurrant flavors. A bit of toasty spice and a hint of bacon can be found on the palate. Nice richness and finesse combine to make this wine worthy of the name “Pommard”.
