Background
La Croix Blanche translates as “the white cross”, a common vineyard sight in Burgundy. This vineyard is just behind the old train station across the street from the famous Epenots Premier Cru vineyard. Anne is one of only 3 winemakers to have access to the grapes in this vineyard. Most exclusive.
Tasting Notes
Brushy black cherry fruit, with shade of bacon and toasty spice. Nice richness in the mouth. Worthy of being called a Pommard.
