- Corton is the only vineyard in Burgundy that makes both red and white Grand Cru wines. This particular vineyard faces southeast and is near the apex of the famous Corton slope. Only 3 growers have access to it; so it is very exclusive. One of my most respected chef clients calls this the best white wine he has ever tasted.
