Domaine Dupre
Macon Villages
BACKGROUND
The vineyards grow near the village of Royer on a slope facing south/southwest. The soil is rich in white marl, which is a blend of clay and limestone. This blend imparts a bright acidity, distinct minerality, and refined elegance to the wines.
TASTING NOTES
Fresh flavors of citrus and white flowers. The wine has wonderful fruitiness and good acidity. Nice finish, too.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Aperitif, charcuterie, and shellfish
