Background
This vineyard parcel, which translates as “Nut tree”, has been in the Joillot family for many generations. It is Jean-Luc’s favorite wine and probably represents the style of the domaine most accurately. This wine is the Joillot family history in a bottle.
Tasting Notes
Classic Burgundian nose - earthy black cherry and dark berries, with a touch of spice. Medium-full, with a big creamy center. More clay in the soil gives extra body and depth to this wine.
