Domaine Francois Leclerc
Gevrey-Chambertin Corbeaux Premier Cru
BACKGROUND
Corbeaux are large black birds, such as Ravens. The vineyard is contiguous with the Mazy-Chambertin Grand Cru vineyard. Such a coveted location gives this wine incredible potential. Very few winemakers have vines in this lieu-dit. Most exclusive.
TASTING NOTES
Deep color. Ripe dark berry fruit flavors. Rich and mouth filling. Textured mid palate. Bigger structure balances well with the acidity. Persistent and long finish. This Premier Cru is a complete wine.
