Background
The Violettes vineyard is bordered on 2 sides by Grand Cru parcels — the Clos de Vougeot to the north and the Echezeaux to the west. The wine tastes more like a Premier Cru than a simple village-level wine. Gloria and I chose this wine to go with the main course when we were married. Yea, we like it a lot!
