Christian Clerget Morey-Saint Denis Les Crais (Blanc)

Background: This is an extremely RARE wine. It is one of the very few white wines in existence in the Cote de Nuits. Christian's Les Crais vineyard used to be planted in Pinot Noir. When he saw the soil makeup, he knew that Chardonnay would grow better there. Now, he has one of the few white wines in the Cote de Nuits -- and it is stunning!
Tasting Notes: This white wine is both crisp and rich. It has a great balance between citrus fruit and minerality. This rare wine is impressive and has a super-long finish. It is a wonderful example of Christian's talent as a top winemaker.
