- The Echezeaux vineyard makes one of the best wines in all of Burgundy. It’s a real treat. During most of my Gourmet tours, we enjoy a picnic lunch with Christian and Isabelle at the edge of the Echezeaux vineyard where it meets the gorge — a picturesque setting and an incredible experience.

- Deeply colored, masculine wine. Blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, layered with mocha and sweet herbs. Tightly wound in youth, it has superb potential. After 10-15 years, it still drinks young and is simply sublime.
