Background
These vines are all located within the town of Chambolle-Musigny; so this is basically a declassified Chambolle-Musigny wine. Incredibly high quality for a regional level wine. In blind tastings, most people think this is a village-level wine or even a Premier Cru.
Tasting Notes
This wine has some fruitiness and some power, but not too much of either. It also has more persistence than you'd expect in a regional wine. A great Cote de Nuits wine to enjoy young, but also capable of aging for a handful of years.
