Background
An amazing value wine. True Meursault quality at a reasonable price. Vieilles vignes means old vines. But then again, all of Alain’s wines are “old vines”. He just happens to put it on this label.
Tasting Notes
Terrific structure. Shows a bit of barrel influence in the nose, along with white peach. Builds across the palate with a big streak of minerality, finishing with a touch of caramel and yellow raisin. Serious Meursault at this level.
